Want to join 1Team?
Our belief in diversity, our commitment to inclusivity and our dedication to what we do brings us together to achieve extraordinary things. We’d love for you to be part of it, so here’s everything you need to know about applying.
Before you apply…
Successful hiring is a two-way process – it’s just as important for you to get to know us as it is for
us to learn about you. We carefully consider each and every application we receive and we want
to make sure that you have every opportunity to put your best foot forward, right from the start.
Where do we hire?
We have a fully distributed workforce working remotely across the UK and Ireland. For now, we are unable to hire anyone who is not both resident in and has the right to work in the UK or Ireland. Any applications from outside of these areas or who are not in a position to prove their residency status prior to interview, will be automatically rejected.

Who can apply?
We are proud to be an equal opportunities employer and welcome interest from all suitability qualified and experienced individuals. We will occasionally encourage applications from particular groups who are currently underrepresented in our workforce – but we will always recruit on merit alone. If you require any reasonable adjustments to assist you in applying for this role, or in due course, attending an interview, please contact [email protected] and we will do all we can to accommodate you.

Top tips for applying
Do
Complete a self-assessment against our essential criteria before starting the application – making sure that you can demonstrate how you meet each essential criterion for the role.
Don’t
Exclude a cover letter – it’s really important for us to assess your fit for the role.
Do
Make sure you complete the application in full and provide enough information to allow us to fully consider your application.
Don’t
Leave the supplementary questions blank, or provide little information. These questions are deliberately selected to assess your enthusiasm and fit for the role. If the data is not provided it is likely that your application will be rejected, so take your time to work on your answers.
Do
Tailor your CV and cover letter to Synergy Learning. Make sure you prioritise and highlight the experience and skills that are most relevant to the role being applied for.
Don’t
Over-use AI. It’s fine to use AI to help with your application, but you must add your personal touch as well – we want to hear your unique voice, not one that has been artificially generated.
Do
Use the cover letter and supplementary questions as an opportunity to demonstrate your knowledge, experience and reasons for wanting to work with Synergy Learning.
Don’t
Forget to review AI content. If you must use AI, please carefully check what information you are including before submitting your application. Mistakes here can be quite noticeable!
Do
Really demonstrate your experience – aim to focus on your achievements and impact rather than listing general responsibilities.
Don’t
Rush or skip anything. Applicants who choose not to include a cover letter, fail to tailor their CV or who put little effort into supplementary questions will likely be rejected. This is your chance to stand out, so use it!
